Mildly amused that there are so many ID checks in the Land of the Free.
I can confirm, from personal experience, that the license does not have to be genuine :) (Being underage again, at 20, was a bit much for this Australian.)
Well, why not put one together and self-certify?
I recall signing up for a prepaid wireless internet online in Sydney was a little like that, you could choose forms of id that couldn't be verified...
3 US states have RFID drivers licenses which include their Social Security number & double as passports for nearby countries (Canada, Mexico etc).
